Samsung Confirms Launch of Windows 8 Devices
There have been rumors floating around the web that Samsung would be releasing three new Windows phones this year and also that two of them would be running the next installment of the Windows Phone OS, Apollo. Now it seems that the Taiwanese arm of the company has confirmed the Windows Phone 8 Apollo handsets will in fact be not only released but also sold as early as October this year.
The Taiwan-based deviation of Samsung is said to be focused on the Windows Phone 8 Apollo platform. With this current interest, they hope to roll out some powerful devices since the current Windows Phones run Windows Phone 7.5 Mango and Windows Phone Refresh 7.5 which have been fitted with single-core processors compared to the likes of the iPhone and Android devices some of which have even gone to the extent of quad-core processors. For now, that is all the details we have managed to surmise but the moment we can, we will let you know more about the upcoming devices.

After all, accessory manufacturer ITSKINS has shared more details concerning this device, with the Galaxy A9 touted to be a wee bit more compact as opposed to the Galaxy S7 Plus, never mind that both handsets will come with 6.0″ screens.
Measurements of the Galaxy A9 include 161.9mm x 81.3mm x 7.34mm, where it would be slightly taller than the Galaxy Note5, while sporting a metal and glass design, a fingerprint reader that should be able to handle mobile payments, a Full HD Super AMOLED display, and a Snapdragon 620 chipset, among others.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 will no doubt be a smartphone that many people would look forward to picking up when it is ready, taking into consideration how flagship devices are always in demand. Well, the Galaxy S7 has been said to target an early 2016 release, and some photos of the alleged device has already been snapped, although one should take into consideration that the original Weibo post is no longer there.
Of course, do take this particular leak with a pinch of salt, since it could be one of the numerous smartphones from various manufacturers that could roll out a similar looking handset. In the leaked photos, you can see a wrap-around metal border design, which seems to be the in thing at least for the next couple of years.
