CloudOn improves its Office-friendly iPad App
The company that brought Microsoft Office to the iPad managed to turn some heads earlier in the year when it decided to bring an app that works along with the cloud. The company called CloudOn seems to have updated said app with some very important features which might make the app even more in-demand than it is currently.
With a few minor tweaks to the UI in place, CloudOn has added support for Box as well as DropBox for storage purposes. Both applications which are cloud based storage systems will add a new dimension of Microsoft Office users who might not want to save too many things on their iPads. Another feature added to the cloud based application is the support for PDF and PSD format documents which will be handled by Adobe Reader.
The update that comes with greater integration with storage apps as well as easy access to read PDFs will still remain free. For all users who are worried that they might not be getting a legitimate user experience of Microsoft Office and Adobe, CloudOn has assured you that it has officially licensed the technology involved from both companies.

It looks like the folks over at Digitimes have come up with their own interpretation of things to come – that there will be no iPad Air 3 released, at least for this year. Digitimes has had their fair share of hits and misses in the past, so it would be best to take this rumor concerning the non-release of the iPad Air 3 in 2015 with a pinch of salt.
Digitimes also laid claim that the iPad mini 4 will not be as supercharged as some of the rumors that had been going around, as it will bring with it only small and incremental upgrades when compared to its predecessor, the iPad mini 3. This does not seem to bode well for fans of the compact tablet, taking into consideration how the iPad mini 3 itself was improved over its predecessor with a new Touch ID fingerprint reader.
Since Apple tends to roll out a new iPad in October, we will just have to sit tight and see whether this particular rumor has enough “legs” to run.
