Snapdragon 820 Specs Revealed

2016 is definitely going to be an interesting year when it comes to flagship Android smartphones, as Qualcomm has revealed the proper specifications for their upcoming Snapdragon 820 chipset. However, it does pay to be patient as Qualcomm has also mentioned that the Snapdragon 820 will only ship in actual devices from next year onward, so that is when we can expect to see majority of the flagship Android-powered smartphones carry this particular chipset.

The Snapdragon 820 will feature custom-designed CPU cores, which would be a quad-core CPU with 64-bit Kryo cores that can be clocked up to speeds of 2.2GHz. Qualcomm claims that the CPU will be able to deliver double the performance of the Snapdragon 810, and it will also be mated to an Adreno 530 GPU, sporting a X12 LTE modem, support for Cat.12 LTE downloads, support for 2×2 MU-MIMO 802.11ac connections, and support for 4K displays as well as up to 28MP cameras, now how about that?
