Meizu, a company that is certainly not a pushover when it comes to the kind of smartphones it churns out, looks set to go against the grain in the future, where Meizu CEO Aber Bai has mentioned on Weibo that the company intends to come up with devices which will be able to provide consumers with a satisfactory overall experience, as opposed to simply tacking on the latest hardware specifications or to cross off a checklist of features that need to be in, just because everyone else is doing so.
Bai figured out that the QHD screens in action at the moment are not being used in a very efficient manner, which is why they have decided to settle for a 1080p panel instead where its next high-end device is concerned. I suppose there is not much else for us to do except to sit back and wait, who knows, Meizu’s CEO might be right about this one.
