Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition To Hit Europe

It looks like the Meizu MX4 Ubuntu Edition that was introduced in China late last month is about to arrive as well over in Europe, thanks to the folks over at Canonical. In fact, sales of this handset is set to happen on June 25th onward, although those who are interested would do well to take the major caveat into consideration.

It will only be available via an invite only system, and this can only be picked up if you were to head over here in order to complete what is known as an “origami wall”. No idea on the total number of invites which will be issued each day, as Canonical as well as Meizu did not say if the invite-based model will cease in due time, and neither do we have any idea as to whether the Meizu MX4 will roll out Stateside or not. Still, if you’re interested, you will have to pony up 299 Euros for one of these puppies.
