Sony Xperia Z3 Caught With Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
The Sony Xperia Z3, at long last, looks set to jump aboard the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop bandwagon, if the video that you see above is to be believed. This would certainly come across as a relief to many people who own the smartphone, taking into consideration how it was updated to Android 5.0.2 earlier this year in March long after a slew of its competitors’ handsets obtained that version of the mobile operating system. A case of better late than never, perhaps?
Good to know then that Sony does not seem as though they are wasting time where Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is concerned, as it has been seen running the D6603 version of Sony’s existing flagship handset in a video. Expect Android 5.1.1 to deliver new animations as well as a feature that will enable the user to locate a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection straight away from the Quick Settings menu, among others.
