Oppo, the smartphone manufacturer from China, looks as though they are about to grow from strength to strength, what with the leak of an upcoming device of which we do not know much about. Virtually nothing at all, really, other than the fact that leaked images of it do seem to point to an extremely slim bezel. Heck, make that a close to non-existent bezel, as it is said that the company has decided to make use of a kind of light refracting technology which will make it look as though this device has no side bezels to look at.
While it might be a cool element in terms of design, this illusion might not be too good for the users in the long run where usability is concerned, since a lack of bezels at the side will translate to the fact that there is no place for one to rest one’s fingers or palms when not touching the display.
