Android 5.0 Lollipop Arrives On Xperia Z3 Devices

Better late than never or so the saying goes. Well, if you happen to own either the Sony Xperia Z3 or the Xperia Z3 Compact, you would be well pleased to know that Sony has, at long last, kept to their word – albeit being a few months late, by announcing the release of the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for both the Sony Xperia Z3 as well as the Sony Z3 Compact.

The rollout kicks off a good five months after Android 5.0 Lollipop was first announced, where it will first make its way over to both of the mentioned handsets in the Nordics and Baltics, before expanding to other markets in the weeks ahead. Not only that, Sony has promised that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update will also be available on additional Xperia Z Series products – starting from a couple o f weeks’ time.
