HTC of Taiwan has certainly clawed its way back into contention with the big boys in the game, but this does not mean that they ought to rest on their laurels. On the contrary, while 2015 is starting to shape up to be a good year for them on paper with their range of devices, it seems that the Hima and Hima Ultra, codenames for the Android-powered One (M9) and One (M9) Plus, looks set to get a Windows 10 variant – and it seems that @upleaks has sniffed out as to why the Windows Phone version of the Hima will not be unveiled at MWC.
@upleaks claims that since Windows 10 will not be fully released before summer arrives, it can then be deduced that the handset itself will probably not be announced some time down the road – not to mention that it is HTC’s existing plan to ensure that the new Windows 10 smartphone will be sold only in the US, exclusively. Well, like what I always like to say, better late than never, right?
