New Google Glass Patent Hints At Futuristic Design

Now here is something that Google Glass enthusiasts will definitely fall in love with – a spanking new design that looks really, really good, ditching the huge battery that used to reside behind your ear, ending up as a pair of smaller ear hooks on either side. Apart from that, the new design revealed in the patent points to a similar, sleek looking metal band that will be able to wrap around your brow, while there is a shiny crystal of glass which will let you see the virtual display.

It must be noted that the whole display/camera unit has made its way from the right side of your head all the way to the left, and I am quite sure that this is as much an engineering design as it is an aesthetic decision. As for the camera on the Google Glass, it will still retain its position right next to the display, being ready at your beck and call to shoot just about anything, at any time.
