While getting the latest updates for a particular device is always deemed to be a good thing, there are times when even the latest software update is unable to solve whatever niggling issues there are. Case in point, the iOS 8.1.2 update that has apparently failed to solve whatever battery issues that plagued your iOS 8-powered device prior.

It seems that the many different steps that Apple has taken to fix whatever battery issues related to iOS 8 has failed in the past few months, and most of the time, such battery drain is attributed to third party apps as opposed to the operating system itself – however, managing the different kinds of apps on your iOS device in an intricate manner is not exactly foolproof.
