Movies do come in sequels, and other follow up stories if the franchise proves itself to be successful enough to warrant such a move, and the same can be said about smartphones, too. Say what you will about high end smartphones, there will always be the entry level market that will see a far bigger customer base, and Samsung knows this. A couple of years ago, they released the Galaxy S Duos, while last year saw the roll out of the Galaxy S Duos 2. This time around, the Galaxy S Duos 3 (model number SM-G313HU) has already been spotted to go on sale on an Indian retailer despite the handset not having an official mention on the Samsung website just yet, sporting an asking price of $130 thereabouts after conversion.
The Galaxy S Duos 3 will run on a dual-core 1.0GHz processor and Android 4.4 KitKat as the mobile operating system of choice. Other hardware specifications include a 4” display at 480 x 800 pixels resolution, HSDPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, a 5MP shooter at the back and a VGA front-facing camera, an LED flash, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory, and a 1500 mAh battery. Will it arrive in other regions? Only time will be able to tell.
