There is nothing quite like a birthday celebration that allows everyone to know that you are not only one year older, but also one year wiser. This time around, it would be Internet search giant Google who has turned 16 – and that is pretty old where dot com companies are concerned in this day and age. Google celebrates their birthday in September, as until 2005, they do note that their birthday falls on September 7th, which is the day it was incorporated. Having said that, a proper birthday cake makes the entire celebration better, and Google has taken up to the social media platform to share what their cake looks like.
It seems as though in the animated image, the top of it came with a slew of lollipops, and knowing how cryptic Google can be at times, this could very well translate to a possible hint of what the next version of Android could be called – Android L being Android “Lollipop?”
