HTC still has to shake off some of its poor reputation despite rolling out two winners in a row – the HTC One (M8), as well as its predecessor, the HTC One (M7). It seems that the HTC One (M8) is not quite “perfect” just yet in the eyes of HTC, as they have just announced a new Dual SIM version of their flagship device. Apparently, the HTC One (M8) will hit Germany, Austria and Switzerland from next week onward as it carries a recommended retail price of €799. That is pretty pricey when you take into consideration that an unlocked vanilla HTC One (M8) will retail for approximately €570 in major European markets at the moment.
Ah well, I suppose you can always purchase the regular HTC One (M8) and use the balance of money to pick up another budget-friendly smartphone if you really need to carry two SIMs around, but for those who prefer convenience, this might be the way to go. Other than having an additional SIM slot, nothing else separates the Dual SIM model from the regular HTC One (M8). Any takers?
