Samsung has introduced yet another entry level smartphone into the already crowded world of Android-powered devices, calling it the Samsung Galaxy Core Lite. What makes the Galaxy Core Lite special, you ask? Well, it happens to come with LTE connectivity which allows you to rule the airwaves with speedy 4G connection as and when available, subject to your mobile carrier of course.

As for its hardware, the Galaxy Core Lite, also going by its model number SM-G3586V, will arrive with a 4.7” display that has 480 x 800 pixels resolution, where it will also be accompanied by a 5MP shooter at the back, NFC support, an LED flash, a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal memory, and a 2,000 mAh battery, all of it running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean right out of the box. It is a mystery as to why there is no Android 4.4 KitKat right from the get go though. The Samsung Galaxy Core Lite is said to sell for approximately $270 after conversion in Taiwan as an unlocked device, without word of overseas availability as at press time.
