For folks living in the Netherlands, here is an interesting device that has just been released, although it does look as though there really isn’t any point to it at all. Known as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, this particular smartphone does not come with any hardware changes or upgrades from the original Galaxy S4. In fact, the only apparent “advantage” that is has would be having Android 4.4 KitKat preinstalled, which is pretty much pointless actually, considering how the vanilla Galaxy S4 has already started to receive the Android 4.4 KitKat update.
Oh yeah, the back cover’s design seems to have changed just a little bit, but that’s about it. For those of you living in the Netherlands, this particular smartphone will cost you €398 as an unlocked device without being bogged down by any contract., or you can always pick it up for free by sticking to a monthly plan of at least €25.
