Huawei of China might have had its fair share of smartphones released to the masses in the past, and certainly the Huawei Ascend P6 has captured its legions of fans when it rolled out last year, considering how it did really well in the international market. Having said that, it was in November last year when the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Ascend P6 was announced to arrive soon, but it is now in mid-May this year with nothing in sight. Hence, we cannot help but be a little bit apprehensive upon hearing that the Ascend P6 will receive the KitKat update this June.
June’s just slightly more than a fortnight away, which would mean a short time of waiting left, but after holding it out for half a year with nary an update in sight, surely the masses cannot be blamed for reading about the June release for Android 4.4 KitKat on the Ascend P6 with a little bit of apprehension? Hopefully all’s well that ends well though.
