HTC might not have revealed its exact sales figures for their current flagship smartphone, the HTC One (M8), but this does not mean that there is no way to make an educated guess as to how many of these handsets have already been sold. HTC did remove some of their system apps from the HTC One (M8), letting you download them from the Google Play Store instead so that it can be easier to push out future updates, and this is the key in figuring things out.
Apparently, the system apps that were listed in the Google Play Store as of last Friday for the HTC One (M8) was shown to have been downloaded 100,000 to 500,000 times, but as of today, the category has seen a jump to the 500,000 to 1,000,000 downloads mark, which points to a minimum of 500,00 0 units sold.
