There is always a first time for everything, so this week marks the first smartphone in the world that will break the 40,000 barrier in the AnTuTu benchmark, and it is none other than the Vivo XShot that has the honor of doing so. One of the closer rivals in recent times where benchmark reading is concerned would be the OnePlus One, where that model touched the 38,000 mark. Well, the Vivo XShot edged past the barrier by hitting 40,023, which also means it has overtaken the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Sony Xperia Z Ultra along the way.

Hardware specifications of the China-made Vivo XShot include a 1080 x 1920 resolution display, a quad-core 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 MSM8974AC CPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, Android 4.3 installed, and a 24MP camera at the back. We await for an official announcement of the XShot with bated breath.
