HTC Droid DNA Set To Receive Android 4.4.2 KitKat Update

There has been a whole lot of focus on the recent introduction of the HTC One (M8), which is definitely a leg up on its predecessor, the HTC One (M7). Well, while the latest Android-powered flagship from HTC will arrive with Google’s Android KitKat operating system version, where HTC Droid DNA, one of the older smartphones around from the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer, will soon be on the receiving end of a spanking new Android 4.4.2 KitKat update

According to HTC executive Mohammad Versi, the folks over at Verizon have already approved the Droid DNA’s update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat, in addition to seeing the Sense user interface getting its version number bumped up to 5.5. It is touted that this particular update will be made available from April 24th via Over The Air (OTA), although it remains to be seen just what kind of goodies the KitKat update will bring for the Droid DNA.
