Windows Phone 8.1 might not even be out yet, but this does not mean that Microsoft is about to rest on their laurels anytime soon. After all, the Windows Phone platform still has a long way to go before they are able to overhaul the likes of iOS or Android. Still, it is encouraging to know that Microsoft’s Windows Phone platform will have Windows Phone 8.5 in the pipeline. Apparently, the Windows Phone emulator has depicted some under the hood information that indicates in the tooltip that secondary live tiles might not make an appearance in Windows Phone 8.5.
Of course, this does not indicate that the secondary live tile will perform a permanent disappearing act, but chances are the API could be changed, or rewritten from the ground up to pave the way for functionality. Other than that, it is more or less a certainty that Windows Phone 8.5 will see a change in the start screen
