LG-Made Smartwatch To Feature 1.65” Display (Rumor)

Google’s is said to be working on a smartwatch with LG touted to be the manufacturer. Apart from that, LG too, has a close partnership with Google since they are also making the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5 smartphones. While Google has not let out additional information on the alleged smartwatch, serial leakster @evleaks has shed some details on this possible timepiece.

It does seem as though the LG-manufactured smartwatch for Google will feature a 1.65-inch IPS display with 280 x 280 pixels, 512MB RAM, and 4GB of internal memory. That size for its touchscreen and resolution ain’t too shabby where a smartwatch is concerned, but when you compare it to Samsung’s recently revealed Gear 2 that sports a 1.63-inch display with 320 x 320 pixels, we are looking at a lower pixel density for Google’s smartwatch. Perhaps Google is looking to deliver something that will be more affordable across the board, which would explain the lower hardware specifications.
