If you are living in the Netherlands, here is news for you – the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini, a device which was released nearly two years back to offer an alternative to the then flagship device, the Samsung Galaxy S3, will be getting a bump in the operating system version as well as a processor update. Known as the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini Value Edition, I would presume that the asking price of €180 might not be considered to be too much of a value proposition.

Just what are some of the improvements introduced to this smartphone? Well, it will go one up on its vanilla version sibling thanks to an updated Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean mobile operating system version, in addition to a speedier dual-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A9 processor. We do wonder whether these two improvements (as everything else about this handset would remain the same) would be enough to entice new buyers.
