Samsung Galaxy S5 To Give MWC 2014 A MIss

Showfloors as well as large events are always the perfect setting for a company to make an announcement for a new product, as press coverage is more or less always guaranteed, not to mention the fact that there will be plenty of showfloor attendees who will offer free coverage. We have just received word from an unnamed Samsung executive that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will not be announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress event.

This is a direct contradiction to what another Samsung executive mentioned a fortnight ago, but as with any decent rumor that is circulating around, only time will be able to tell whether said rumor is true or otherwise. Skipping MWC 2014, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will instead be unveiled this coming March at an event in New York. Which of the two do you think that Samsung would be better off parading their Galaxy S5?
