HTC might be a fading star in the world of smartphones, but this does not mean that they have no more fight in their stomach. On the contrary, their HTC One was actually a pretty solid handset by all accounts, unfortunately the dipping reputation of the company did affect the overall sales of the device somewhat. Having said that, here we are with a leak of a possible mid-range Desire smartphone from HTC that is touted to run on the latest MediaTek platform, where it will arrive with a true octa-core Cortex-A7 processor. This particular device does remind us of the iPhone 5c to a certain extent due to its ). The device somewhat reminds of the iPhone 5C because of its bright colors.
Some of the rumored hardware specifications of this HTC device will include a 5″ 720p display, an 8MP camera as well as 1.5GB RAM, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and of course, MediaTek’s octa-core platform. This particular smartphone will allegedly arrive in yellow, orange, red and blue shades.
