Do you happen to like what has been done with flagship smartphones carrying the “Mini” suffix, where it denotes a less than full featured capabilities of the original flagship device, and yet has been shaped to look like it? The Sony Xperia Z1 f might not sound familiar to some of us, but if we were to tell you that this is actually the Honami Mini, it might just ring a bell in your head, just as it is also known as the Xperia Z1 Mini. It seems that what you see above is a photographed catalogue of a bunch of smartphones that will be launched in Japan soon by NTT docomo, and the Sony Xperia Z1 f happens to be one of them – which means it has been more or less “confirmed” for Japan.
So far, we do not know much else about the Sony Xperia Z1 f, although it is safe to speculate that this puppy will arrive in a quartet of colors, namely black, white, pink, and lime. Not only that, it should come with at least a 4.3” display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean in tow, of course, while carrying over the legacy of the Xperia Z1’s waterproof and dustproof capabilities.
