XiaoMi ZiMi Tablet Might Be Known As The XiaoMi Mi-Pad Or Mi-Tab

We all know how Chinese manufacturer XiaoMi has plans to roll out new devices to the market, and one of them that is in the pipeline would be the tablet known as the XiaoMi ZiMi, otherwise given the nickname of Purple Rice. Hmm, it does seem as though this particular tablet might have yet another nickname in the waiting, or rather, the official English name – with the Economic Daily News (EDN) reporting that those monikers could include the XiaoMi Mi-Pad or XiaoMi Mi-Tab.

It was also reported that the people behind Foxconn would be the ones who roll out the XiaoMi ZiMi, and MediaTek would be the ones to deliver the quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor underneath the hood for all of its processing needs. Only time will be able to tell whether the XiaoMi ZiMi tablet can make it big in the market or not – local or otherwise.
