It does seem as though there will be no Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie for the next version of Android, but rather, Google’s upcoming Android version will be Android 4.4 KitKat, named after the much loved chocolate wafer brand. We do wonder whether this “advertisement” of a name did involve any kind of monetary exchange between the confectionery manufacturer and Google, but we will put that thought aside at the moment and revel in the glory of such chocolatey goodness. A video of the KitKat statue’s unveiling has apparently led on to more than meets the eye – where some folks claimed that the LG Nexus 5 too, was spotted in the video.
Apparently, sometime during the 38 second mark saw what seemed to be one of the Google employees holding a yet-unreleased Nexus 5 in his hands. That remains to be confirmed of course, but with Google having pulled the video, it just adds to the possibility that the Nexus 5 was not supposed to be in there in the beginning. Well, exciting days are ahead of us, that’s for sure.
