Umeox X5, all set to take over the mantle of the world’s thinnest smartphone at 5.6mm when it hits the market eventually, is said to be unveiled officially at IFA 2013 which will be held in Berlin. The thing is, this is just a rumor, and unfortunately for those who were looking forward to the Umeox X5’s 5.3” display, you might be in for a major disappointment. After all, it has been whispered that the Umeox X5 could eventually arrive with a 4” display instead, and what used to be an 8-megapixel camera at the back with a 3-megapixel shooter in front could be downsized to a pair of 5-megapixel cameras instead.
Other than that, there is a very strong possibility of the processor being sourced from the folks over at MediaTek, and there is a very real possibility of said smartphone being marketed in Europe as the Thomson X5, with France having the highest chance of picking up this handset at the moment.
