Nokia has always been pretty famous among developing nations for their candybar handsets, and we sure as heck have seen our fair share of classics in the past, including the beautiful Nokia 8810, the luxurious Nokia 8850, the seemingly indestructible Nokia 3310, and if you were to rewind the clock back even more, how about the models with an antenna, such as the super productive Nokia 6110? Well, Nokia brings us down memory lane with a couple of upcoming handsets – the Nokia 207 and Nokia 208 which are also said to be the cheapest 3G devices out there, at $68 a pop as it is tipped for a September release at the latest this year.
They share the same specifications, including a 2.4” QVGA display, HSPA and Bluetooth connectivity, Nokia XpressBrowser, Slam sharing service, Mail for Exchange, a microSD memory card slot, and a 1,020 mAh battery. The only difference between the Nokia 208 and Nokia 207 is that the former has a 1.3-megapixel camera at the back, while the latter does not have any camera at all. [Press Release]
