While Android and iOS are duking it out to jostle for top spot in the mobile operating system space, but this does not mean there is no action at the third and fourth spots. Similar to how Tottenham and Arsenal duked it out to the very last day of the English Premier League for that priceless Champions League place, so too, are Windows Phone 8 and BlackBerry 10 OS, as there were whispers that Windows Phone 8 recently overtook BlackBerry in select markets as the third most popular mobile operating system. Having said that, there are not that many Windows Phone 8 smartphones being bandied about just yet, and the HTC Tiara which has already received FCC approval has apparently seen its official image leaked.
Touted to come with a 4.3” Super LCD2 display of WVGA resolution, the HTC Tiara will run on a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, have 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory, a front-facing 1.6-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel shooter at the back, and a 1,800mAh battery running proceedings from within.
