It was earlier this year when the single SIM version of Samsung’s Galaxy Fame, with model number S6810, was launched in Europe sometime last month. Having said that, it is now time for a new and improved model to step up to the plate, which will come in the form of model number S6812, and the number “2” behind would denote that this is a dual SIM device. The Samsung Galaxy Fame Duos, as it is called, has just hit India yesterday, and it seems restricted to that particular country at this point in time.
It is priced at approximately $203, where it will come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the operating system of choice, in addition to a 3.5” display at HVGA (320 x 480 pixels) resolution, HSDPA, Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS support, a 1GHz single-core processor, a 5-megapixel shooter at the back, a VGA front-facing camera, 512MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory and a 1,300mAh battery.
