Sprint did introduce the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update to the LG Optimus G last month, and it seems that AT&T does not want to miss out on the game as well, with word from different owners who are rocking to AT&T’s network while carrying the LG Optimus G in their pockets, that they too, have started to receive the very same Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update. The thing is, there has not been an official announcement on the situation, so you might want to perform manual checks on your own.
Something tells me that an official announcement is ready and ripe to be picked very, very soon, as it would not make sense for Ma Bell (nickname for AT&T) to continue holding out on this update when it does nothing but bring smiles to owners of the LG Optimus G, right? Not to mention all the goodness that comes with the Jelly Bean update.
