The HTC One is all set to be the new flagship smartphone for the beleaguered smartphone company that is desperately in need of a new hit in the market, but for some strange reason, we have already heard on how HTC USA tweeted that the HTC One will not be arriving Stateside via Verizon, and has instead recommended the clearly inferior HTC Droid DNA as a replacement, while the HTC One on other mobile carriers in the US will see a delay, no thanks to The Wall Street Journal confirming that the cause of the delay is due to camera component shortages.
It seems that select components that are required for the UltraPixel camera is unable to be replaced by generic parts from third party suppliers, and to hear that their flagship model is about to be delayed is definitely not music to anyone’s ears.
