While the Sony Xperia Z is Sony’s flagship device of 2013, it is not without its fair share of problems. According to recent reports, there are users who are complaining about how their Xperia Z devices are shutting down randomly. No doubt this is extremely annoying, but what makes it even more frustrating is the fact that some of these users are unable to start their phones after it has been shutdown. Some recommendations have been made, which is to perform a hard reset (power button + vol up) but unfortunately this method is not working for everyone. Thankfully Sony has acknowledged that this is a problem and according to them, they claim that the fix to this issue will be arriving in the phone’s next update. No word on when that update is expected to arrive, although we can only hope for the sake of Xperia Z owners that it will be soon. In the meantime are there any Sony Xperia Z owners who have faced this problem, and what have you done to “fix” it?
