Knowing a few doctor friends myself, I know that during their studies, they had thick and heavy books that they had to bring to class filled with all sorts of information regarding the human body, medicine, and etc. Well the good news is that if you’re in South Korea and you’re planning to start your medical studies, Samsung has announced the Galaxy Note 10.1 Medical Hub Edition. This is essentially the regular Galaxy Note 10.1, with the main difference being that it will come preloaded with medical textbooks and the likes. In fact it seems that the tablet will make full use of the S Pen stylus, such as getting students to color in the various parts of the human anatomy. We admit this is a little weird since coloring in books feels more like a kindergarten exercise, but hey, we expect that everyone learns differently and whatever helps future doctors learn the best can’t really be argued, right? The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Medical Hub Edition will launch in South Korea for 799,000 Won which is a little over $700 after conversion. No word on whether it will be launched outside of the US, but there are already medical books available in digital format, so you will just need to search for them.
