If you are the owner of either the LG Optimus 4X HD or the LG Optimus L7, here is some good news for you. LG has just officially confirmed over their German blog that they have every intention of rolling out the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update for the mentioned handsets, but only to unlocked versions of the smartphones. Folks who have picked theirs up from a carrier that will obviously be accompanied by a subsidy will most probably have to play the patience card, waiting for their respective carriers to give the nod of approval for the update.
Expect a slew of user interface updates with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, among them Project Butter that makes your life silky smooth when scrolling from one screen to another screen, not to mention the availability of Google Now.
