The Blackberry Z10 is Blackberry’s latest device and runs the company’s latest mobile operating system, Blackberry 10. While we’re sure that the change and upgrade is welcomed with open arms by Blackberry fans, we’re sure that there are other users from other platforms, such as iOS, Android and Windows Phone, who see the potential in Blackberry 10 and are willing to give the handset a try. According to Blackberry’s CEO, Thorsten Heins, that is indeed the case. Speaking at Blackberry’s Q4 FY2013 earnings call, Heins revealed that a staggering 55% of Blackberry Z10 customers come from other mobile operating systems. This is pretty impressive as it signifies that not only is Blackberry able to lure existing Blackberry customers, but are able to rope in customers from other platforms as well. We’re not sure if Blackberry’s more immediate competitor, Windows Phone, has the same numbers, but for now it looks like Blackberry is on the right track to regain some of their former glory. Any of our readers out there who made the jump to Blackberry 10?
