If you happen to own a Samsung Galaxy Nexus from Verizon Wireless, you might have enjoyed 4G LTE connectivity for your mobile Internet needs, but it seems that the handset laboriously lags behind its GSM brethren, being four versions late, but hopefully, with a tweet from a Verizon support team member, all that long waiting might come to an end in due time. According to the tweet from a Verizon support team who was queried as to when an update will arrive, the response mentioned, “Samsung will push the update directly to your device over the air. Sorry, no release date. But, it will be soon.”
Soon is a relative word, and of course, we would like to see the Verizon Galaxy Nexus make the jump to Android 4.2.2 and bypassing the other two incremental updates, but right now, I guess we would not mind taking anything that is newer than Android 4.1.
