Not all smartphones are created equal, but when we use one, we do expect it to have decent performance most of the time without choking or freezing, especially after it has one of the more recent system updates running. Well, we are rather disappointed to report that the LG Nexus 4 that runs on the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system does have its fair share of flaws, where some users have reported that the camera app will freeze and stop working altogether, causing the shutter button to be unable to shoot any more photos.
Select quarters claim that this issue can be fixed by switching to camcorder mode and then back again, and the general consensus is this, if you were to reboot your Nexus 4, the issue should go away, at least for some time. Word has it that this issue crops up when one does not reboot their Nexus 4 for a long time, or have just gone through a marathon photo taking session.
