Facebook Hackers Attack Apple

Facebook was recently hacked, although the social network giant claims that no user data was compromised (what, even if it were to be compromised, would they say so right out?), and the very same group of hackers who broke down Facebook’s virtual defenses have managed to attack some of Apple employees’ Mac computers. This is definitely a blot for Apple, as the company had always gloated over its security levels compared to Windows-powered machines.

Apple claimed that a “small number” of computers were infected after employees visited a website that was set up just for software developers, and this website helped transmit the offensive malicious computer code. Apple has since then mentioned that they will be introducing an update for Mac users’ protection in due time, and will cooperate fully with law enforcement in order to track down the source of the so-called malware.
