It seems that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 might not be the only Samsung device that could feature Samsung’s 8-core Exynos 5 processor. Thanks to Antutu Benchmark sightings, both the Korean and international variant of the alleged Galaxy S4 were spotted and they appear to be powered by Samsung’s recently announced 8-core Exynos 5 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, along with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean running the show. So far not much is known about the Galaxy S4 apart from rumored specs which includes a 4.99″ Full HD display, 2GB of RAM and a 13MP rear-facing camera, but given that the Galaxy S4 is Samsung’s flagship device for 2013, we guess we’re not that surprised that the South Korean company has decided to go all out in terms of hardware, especially considering that their competitors such as HTC with the Butterfly, and Sony with the Xperia Z already feature quad-core processors and Full HD displays, so by introducing an 8-core Exynos 5 processor, Samsung will be able to one-up the competition at least in one aspect. Either way we suggest you not get your hopes up just yet especially since benchmarks can be faked, but in the meantime what do you guys think?
