[CES 2013] CES is the platform for many a consumer electronics manufacturer to make an announcement of upcoming devices, as well as setting the trend for the year ahead. Polaroid, a name that is more often than not associated within the realm of photography has decided to jump into the world of tablets – the Android-powered variety, with the Polaroid M7 in tow.

This will run on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, where it is accompanied by a 2-megapixel shooter in front, with 8GB of internal memory that can be further augmented through the use of a microSD memory card. The 7” display will not turn too many heads, but it ought to last the year without being obsolete, considering how it packs a resolution count of 1280 × 800 pixels at a pixel density of 216ppi. No idea on the make and model of the processor within, but we do know that it will carry two cores. [Product Brochure]
