If you’re looking forward to seeing HTC’s new phone, the M7, you might be interested to learn that rumors are suggesting that the smartphone could be announced on the 19th of February. This is particularly interesting because MWC will be taking place towards the end of February, but we guess HTC wanted an event of their own in order to make the handset stand out from the sea of announcements that we expect will take place during the event. This rumor was revealed by Flavio Pic on his Twitter account, but as is with the case regarding rumors, it’s best taken with a grain of salt until we can get more evidence. For those who might have forgotten about the HTC M7, the rumored specs of the device include a 4.7″ Full HD display, Android Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5 UI on top, LTE connectivity, a 1.7GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 12MP rear-facing camera, a 2MP front-facing camera and 32GB of internal storage.
