Nokia Design Patent Points To A Higher Resolution Future

Nokia’s most recent design patent was granted just on December 11th, which is less than a week ago. With this design patent, something very interesting crossed our minds – it might resemble an old 801T design which is an old China-only Symbian Anna-powered smartphone, but there is still some light at the end of the tunnel yet. After all, having been granted this design patent, it would mean that Nokia could very well have a mind to reuse this design, or at least work on something in a similar vein for the future.

Yes sir, there is a small hump that does raise hopes of this being a PureView breed smartphone, where the added space would go a long way in adding a 20-megapixel PureView sensor or so, while there is a removable cover that also means we could be looking at a microSD memory card slot – an essential feature to have if you are going to capture photos with this puppy all day long. Not only that, we could very well be looking at a curved glass display, only time will tell eventually.
