The frenzied holiday season will soon be upon us, and we all know just how fast time flies. Well, this is one instance that owners of the Samsung Galaxy S Advance would not mind having time pass by quickly – simply because Samsung Germany has shared over on their Facebook page to inform the masses that they will be on the receiving end of the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update sometime in January, only for Galaxy S Advance owners, of course. This particular update will have two routes when it comes to hitting your smartphone – you can opt to have it snake its way via the Kies software, or you can opt to take the Over The Air route, depending on which you are more comfortable with.
It must be noted that the update was originally rumored for a November release, but I guess it is always better to be late than never, right? Not only will the Samsung Galaxy S Advance receive this Jelly Bean update, but so too, will a long list of devices be on a similar receiving end in the “coming months”.
