Asus’ pride and joy when it comes to firmware updates where the Android operating system is concerned would be to deliver the latest version of the update at all times to their devices within the shortest time possible, and perhaps this habit has not changed with the latest assurance from Asus that they are working on delivering the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update for its range of tablets. This bit of information comes about from a couple of Dutch websites, but nothing more specific has been revealed.
Asus did manage to release these updates quickly in the past because they hardly changed the stock Android experience, making life a whole lot easier. Needless to say, Asus has confirmed that their Transformer Prime TF201 will receive the update first and “soon”, although they did promise that other tablets too, will be on the receiving end of the update.
