Are you having a hard time trying to keep track on the number of text messages that you have sent out to your family and friends over the course of the month? If you have answered in the affirmative, then do bear in mind that there is an easier way to keep track without relying on the traditional pen-and-paper method, and neither do you need to wreck your brains in trying to remember whether this is the 112th or 113th text message that has been sent out. Why not get your phone to do it for you instead? This is what the Sony Xperia J is capable of as you can see in the image on the right, where the SMS counter feature is activated under the Menu settings.
Basically, it will set the ceiling on just how many text messages you can send out each month, making it ideal to curb your wayward text messaging habit, or simply to help you gain control over your monthly phone bill, especially when you are running on a tight budget already. No idea on whether this SMS counter feature will find its way to other Xperia devices though, so we will just have to wait and see.
