T-Mobile missed the Samsung Galaxy Note boat when it first came out, and even then, they were rather late to the game – which could have been the reason for its last minute cancellation. Having said that, T-Mobile US is not going to make the same mistake again, where they will be on the receiving end of a Galaxy Note 2 variant that sports the model number SGH-T889. Here is what we know about T-Mobile’s version – it will share similar hardware specifications as with the international variant, is compatible with T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network, and will have Android 4.1 Jelly Bean pre-installed.
We have also received word that Samsung is working hard to make sure that Jelly Bean on the T-Mobile model runs nicely without any hiccups, and this is evident in test builds being compiled every 4 to 5 days, which are subsequently distributed to their device testers through the Over The Air method. If you are a T-Mobile subscriber whose contract is about to be expired, do you have the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in your sights?
