Sony Xperia U to receive Ice Cream Sandwich update real soon

The Sony Xperia product blog did share a range of questions which were posed towards them at the recently concluded IFA 2012 in Berlin, Germany, and amidst the slew of questions, there was one that caught our attention. Someone asked just when would the Sony Xperia U be on the receiving end of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, and we are glad to say that the reply was definitely encouraging to say the least, which you can read as quoted below.

The ICS rollout for Xperia U will kick-off within the next few weeks and rollout gradually – more information to follow soon!
